An English brand with a Swedish soul
Around 2010, Stjärnagloss — “star gloss” in Swedish — was a little-known brand in the UK, sold exclusively by the Shinearama shop. Its Scandinavian feel, honest prices and intense pre-wash foam earned it a loyal following. When the shop closed, many thought the brand was gone for good.
“Björn Again”: the 2019 revival
Almost ten years later, Stjärnagloss was reborn, taken over and manufactured in England by the team behind Dodo Juice, the respected English detailing brand. The whole range was reformulated, repackaged and renamed: short Swedish names, one simple regime, excellent performance and prices that stay honest. No re-badged chemicals, no hype — a genuine detailing brand, from the Snö pre-wash to the Fantastisk hybrid wax.
Stjärnagloss France, since 2020
The brand officially arrived in France in 2020. Imported and distributed by Formula Detailing, the full range — wash, wheels, glass, protection, kits — ships from France with advice from a team that details cars daily. The French community keeps growing, driven by cult products like the Bubblor shampoo and the Hjul wheel cleaner.
The philosophy
